The Rocket Project is giving a group of highly dedicated science students at the California Academy of Math & Science, the rare opportunity to take their ideas beyond the surface of the Earth, and demonstrate their mastery of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics principals by participating as members of the Mavericks Clotho Project team in the design, construction, development and flight testing of the BEAGLE VI rocket. The “Mavericks in the Classroom” STEM Education program also provides the students an upper-division undergraduate level accelerated rocket engineering course, taught by Thomas M.
